Mr. Milo Nitschke
Chief Financial Officer
Alamo
Regional Mobility Authority
Mr. Milo D. Nitschke currently serves as Chief
Financial Officer of the Alamo Regional Mobility
Authority, the local entity responsible for
improving mobility by accelerating transportation
projects to deliver congestion relief and enhance
the economic vitality of the region.
Mr. Nitschke previously served the City of San
Antonio in a number of capacities, including
Director of Finance and handling specialized
projects within the City Manager’s Office.
Since 1979, Mr. Nitschke has been involved with over $2.2.
Billion of successful financing and refinancing of
multiple types of projects including general
obligation bonds, revenue bonds, refinancings,
forward financings, variable rate financings,
special project financings, and conduit financings.
In
his role with the Alamo RMA, Mr. Nitschke oversees
the financial management and administration of the
Alamo RMA financial resources, activities,
implementation and monitoring of internal controls,
and financial reporting. In addition, his daily
duties are focused on the Alamo RMA debt program,
investments, accounting, banking, procurement,
employee benefits, and the implementation and
administration of the Alamo RMA’s goals pertaining
to small businesses, minority-owned, women-owned,
African-American owned, hand Historically
Underutilized Businesses.
Mr. Nitschke’s professional base of knowledge
includes experience in, and the interface with,
various disciplines and fields of work including -
finance, economics, accounting, management,
administration,
technical analysis, financial design and
structuring, and financial risk analysis. He has
been engaged in the preparation and presentation of
financial information to governing bodies, credit
rating agencies, bond insurance firms, and general
financial discussion audiences.
Mr.
Nitschke holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business
Administration, with a concentration in Finance /
Economics from the University of Texas at San
Antonio.
