The Alamo RMA and the Texas Department of Transportation will hold the 2nd round of public workshops on the IH 35 Planning and Environmental Linkages study on Wednesday, February 22, and Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. All information presented at the workshop will be available online starting at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2012. Weekend Closures for February 3 - 5, 2012
Weather permitting, the following closures will occur this weekend.
Friday, February 3 - Sunday, February 5, 2012
US 281 Northbound Frontage Lanes - Night Closure
The US 281 northbound frontage lanes will be closed north of the Henderson Pass entrance ramp to the US 281/ Loop 1604 intersection. Construction crews will set steel beams to connect the US 281 North to Loop 1604 East direct connector. This closure is a night closure and will begin at 10:00 p.m. and reopen at 5:30 a.m.
Detour: Traffic will use the US 281 Henderson Pass entrance ramp and the Sonterra exit ramp to access Loop 1604 West/East.

Loop 1604 Westbound Closures
The Loop 1604 Westbound right main lane and two left frontage lanes will be closed from the US 281 exit ramp to the Stone Oak exit ramp. This closure will include the Loop 1604 westbound to eastbound turnaround at US 281 and the Stone Oak exit ramp. The closure is for Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Construction crews will pour concrete for the US 281 North to Loop 1604 West direct connector.
Detour: Traffic will use the Loop 1604 exit ramp to US 281 to travel to Stone Oak. Traffic will use the Loop 1604/ US 281 intersection to turn around.
