The Alamo Regional Mobility Authority (Alamo RMA) is starting a traffic and revenue study along Loop 1604, from US 90 to IH 35 on the northeast part of Bexar County, and along US 281 from Loop 1604 to the Bexar / Comal County line, as part of its efforts to help address needed congestion relief projects within our community.

- Alamo RMA Statement on Judge Biery's Denial of AGUAs request for injunction
(San Antonio, Texas) –Dr. William E. Thornton, Chairman of the Alamo Regional Mobility Authority (Alamo RMA) today issued the following statement regarding the denial of AGUA’s motion for preliminary injunction, which sought to stop all construction of the US 281 at Loop 1604 Interchange.
“We are thrilled with Judge Biery’s order today, denying AGUA’s motion for a preliminary injunction. As Judge Biery stated in his opinion, the Alamo RMA, TxDOT and the Federal Highway Administration followed the procedures and requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act in moving forward with the clearance and now the construction of this long awaited and much needed interchange to help solve one of the worst safety and traffic spots in our entire community.
