Mr. Jesse F. Jenkins, P.E.

Jesse F. Jenkins is a native San Antonio resident. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aeronautical Engineering.
Mr. Jenkins’s career highlights include designing the most cost effective engine test stand for the Air Force's F-16 airplane. He also has been involved with design and production of over 700 engine trailers for special capacity loads.
He was a Wind Tunnel Manager and Design and Development Officer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
As chief of production control, Mr. Jenkins set up the Air Force Technical Service Command first Jet Engine overhaul unit in Mobile Alabama.
Mr. Jenkins designed special engine test blocks for desert conditions at Agra India and as Depot Engineering Officer supervised over 1200 GIs and 3500 civilian employees in overhauling over 300 engines per month for the Air Force.
These accomplishments, along with service as Commanding Officer of the 3rd Air Depot Repair Squadron, earned him the Bronze Star Medal.
Mr. Jenkins has many community as well as professional affiliations. He has been a member of the CBI Veteran's Association (WW2), the San Antonio Manufacturers Association, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineers, and the St. Margaret Mary's Building Committee, just to name a few. Mr. Jenkins also has 65 years of service with the Boy Scouts of America starting as a tenderfoot and ending as a Scoutmaster.
Mr. Jenkins, in addition to serving on the Alamo RMA Board, currently serves as a member of the City South Management Authority.
Mr. Jenkins sits on the Alamo RMA Finance Committee.
